Grasp of water accident caused by offshore wind in Niigata Prefecture.

On August 9, 2016, a child who was using a floating wheel at Niigata City Kakudahama in Niigata Prefecture was flushed off the coast and an accident occurred to rescue a rescue helicopter under the Kakudahama lighthouse. This accident was caused by sea-like wind. From this incident, I thought that many other accidents related to offshore wind were taking place.
In this research, we analyze accidents caused by wind in the vicinity of Niigata City in the summer, data per minute from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and hourly data of AMeDAS Niigata contribute to the prevention of accidents .
First of all, when we investigated the case on the sea wind, 11 cases out of 81 water accidents occurred around Niigata City.
As a result of analyzing the data of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, in 2016, "S, ENE, NE" in the direction of "NE, S, ENE" in 2017 is many, in 2016 it is 28.2% in Oki direction, the wind direction parallel to the coast 45.8%, the direction facing Okinawa in 2017 is 26.8%, the wind direction parallel to the coast is 45.4%, and the wind direction parallel to the coast was largeD
As a result of analysis of the data of AMeDAS Niigata, there were many winds from S, SSE, N in 2016, SE, SSE, S in 2017, S, SSW, SE in 2018.
I tried to substitute the data of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport with the data of AMeDAS Niigata and investigated whether there is correlation or not. As a result, since the north east of AMeDAS Niigata to the south has the same possibility as the direction of the offshore wind direction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, It was so.
This study proved that there are so many wind direction and oriented wind direction towards Oki in the vicinity of Niigata Prefecture. Also, with the data of AMeDAS Niigata, the wind direction facing Oki was substitutable.
