Shohei HAMAMOTO Cross-sectional analysis on the service level of regional public transportation in Niigata prefecture. Kiichirou HATOYAMA In this research, we conducted a questionnaire survey and a hearing survey on three companies in Nagaoka city as regional public transportation operators who operate the operation closely in the area according to the previous research. Based on the results, we conducted a questionnaire survey on 67 projects in 24 municipalities in Niigata Prefecture. The items concerning the service level were discussed here. In this research, it was found that the service contents at the time of operation greatly affected the index CPP set independently. As a result, it was found that the "collection method of user's voice" has a strong influence, and it is thought that collecting the voice of the user without expense can make CPP value efficient it was done. As the analysis result obtained in this research tended to increase the number of users for both "information provision method", "user's voice collection method" and "diabolic disorder measures", it is also important to incorporate new methods besides existing methods. Also, as for the fare income and travel expenses, "types of freight discounts" were mentioned as items that tend to increase. From this, it turned out that it would be better to prioritize those that do not incur expenses when increasing the number of fare discounts. For future work, analysis on regional characteristics could not be performed because there was not much correlation with non-explanatory variable CPP. It is thought that correlation with unexplored variables could be confirmed when detailed regional characteristics data for each region of public transportation is obtained.
