Movement grasp of nearshore currents for water accident prevention in Uchinada coast
INUKAI Naoyuki (HOSOYAMADA Tokuzo)
This research made Uchinada coast the subject and grasped the wave characteristics of the Uchinada coast, using NAWPHAS wave data and the wave data observed by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau Kanazawa Port and Airport OfficeĦ¤and the wave characteristics of the Uchinada coast was infered from data in Kanazawa harbor.Rip current occurrence point is considered from ADCP observational data, the wave which beach cusp in Uchinada coast is formed was estimated.
By comparing wave data in Uchinada coast and the Kanazawa harbor offing, the wave height and the direction of the wave got the result that is affected by a breakwater. The circumstances of the wave of the Uchinada coast was estimated from wave data in the Kanazawa harbor offing, and the wave characteristics was identical for the most part. The water depth and a flow velocity distribution figure are made from the data of topography and flow circumstances. It were confirmed that the topography change and the current velocity decreases at the offing. To extract the flow direction in the northwest could confirm the flow direction, and It was possible to specify that rip current is caused in other place.
It could also be confirmed that those places occur by a rip channel. From the result, by comparing the occurrence place of the rip current at the estimation value and the actual measurement, it almost showed the same trend as the estimated value.
And also, it was possible to confirm the influence which gives it to the occurrence space of the offshore current from a relation of each parameter such as rip current occurring place, the wave height, cycle and sea bottom slope. It was also possible to infer the wave circumstances exerted on a topography change in Uchinada coast from those relations.
