Study on House Damage Prediction by Using The Micro-Tremor
Yasuyuki MIYAKI
House damage predictions were created by using land condition classification on previous studies and compared with previous house damage predictions. As a result, The predictions have higher versatility and higher precision than previous one. However, damage trends between Ch?etsu earthquake and Ch?etsu Oki are totally different on alluvial fan , the predictions have a problem which is unable to evaluate with both earthquake data. It is conceivable that the property of river which forms alluvial fan differs each other. Especially, it is possibility that the difference is not only property of river but also damage from earthquake such as Shinano river flowing through Nagaoka and Sabaishi river flowing through Kashiwazaki..Therefore, alluvial fans are classified by scale of catchment basin.
It was aimed to clarify the relationship between micro-tremor and house damage. Feature of the study is not only to determine Predominant period and H/V spectral but also consider how much houses on each measurements spots are shaken by using velocity waveform obtained from micro-tremor and accelerogram on Ch?etsu and Ch?etsu Oki , quantification and damage evaluation were carried out.
As a result, RMS which stands for root mean square were calculated from displacement response. Especially, relationship between RMS and damage rate was revealed by using case-2 to take into account the 0.2 to 0.3 seconds. Moreover,¦Á on each spots is defined, which were calculated from horizontal to vertical ratio. It is defined as ¦Á value obtained by taking the horizontal to vertical ratio from the value of the RMS were calculated by using the acceleration of the horizontal component and the vertical component. Finally, it indicate it's possibility that the spots on low instrumental seismic intensity being high damage ratio are identified.
