Actual Condition and Evaluation of Measures to Encourage Use of the Vacant Houses Bank Focusing on Needs of Migration to Hilly and Mountainous Area

Recent years, serious problems of increase vacant house are affected low birth rate, aging, depopulation. Especially, problems of increase vacant house in hilly and mountainous area should be improved to maintain of village. Other hand, Migration applicant has increased in hilly and mountainous area. In the background, vacant house bank has been attracting attention as one of the migration propulsion initiatives. But it has stagnated migration in the vacant house bank. In this study reveal factors for performing migration to hilly and mountainous area. Finally purpose is to promote the use of the vacant house bank in hilly and mountainous area. First we conducted a questionnaire survey on awareness of migration for vacant house bank users to reveal for issues of vacant house bank in hilly and mountainous. As a result, migration issues of vacant house bank users were relationship with local residents of after migration and the lack of local information. Issues to hilly and mountainous area were issue to use vacant house bank in hilly and mountainous. Next, we conducted a questionnaire survey on awareness of migrant to hilly and mountainous to reveal factor that be required migration to hilly and mountainous. As a result, we revealed migrant are needed visit to the migration destination and consultation for migration to do a migration to hilly and mountainous. Also we revealed the living conditions required in Migration destination are needed natural environment around the house, the neighborhood relationship, working hours, commuting hours. Finally, we revealed migrant needed migration promotion measures from various fields follow not only to disseminate information about the house not only to disseminate information about the house to promote the use of the vacant house bank in hilly and mountainous area.
