Study on Dangerous Consciousness and Action Change by the Enlightenment Activity for Elderly People

In late years the ratios of traffic accident that an elderly person participates in increase. However, community is limited to the elderly person. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a more effective class. I perform a class by plural technique in this study. I evaluate the fact-finding of an attitude survey and the driving action by front and back. I clarify the most effective class. The area for chose the Miyauchi area where elderly person accidents occurred frequently in in Nagaoka-shi based on traffic accident data of the Heisei 16-24 year and carried out a road safety class. I carry out all three times of attitude surveys 20 days after the class if before and after a class and clarify effective technique, the change of the class effect. The class technique that I carried out "was "the lecture by the police officer", "the road safety DVD seeing and hearing", a workshop ," but, as for the difference by the technique, is not supposed at the attendance will of the student attending a lecture, class satisfaction. In addition, it is thought that it does not lead to class participation because the interest degree for the class of the non-student attending a lecture is lower than a student attending a lecture. As for negative acceleration having become slow in the elderly person who had a driving change in approximately a class clearly, eight, acceleration were five negative acceleration in both areas.
