Fluctuation Survey of Water Regime in Sea of Japan nearly Niigata Pref.

Tokuzo HOSOYAMADA , Naoyuki INUKAI

Various influences by Global Warming such as temperature rise has been reported in all global scale. Fluctuation of Sea surface temperature, temperature and water level affected by global warming of the Sea of Japan side was confirmed. In addition, the environmental conditions of low pressure that causes the waves to Niigata Port was investigated. Finally, the water temperature vertical distribution in the water off Niigata was reproduced in numerical calculation. The water temperature vertical distribution of future was predicted by using this model.
As a result, the rise of the temperature, sea surface temperature and sea level of Japan side coastal areas was confirmed. Results of examining the environmental conditions in winter bomb cyclones, it was found that two moving path of low pressure. One route that passes through the Sea of Japan from the Eurasian continent. Another route that passes through the Pacific Ocean from the East China Sea. According to Arctic Oscillation index, ENSO index and North Pacific Ocean index, the difference routes was caused by the difference of cold influx. The vertical distribution of water temperature in the water off Niigata between April and August was reproduced by heat diffusion equation. The vertical distribution of water temperature after 100 years was calculated by using the calculation model. As a result, the water temperature in 200 meters depth rises high evenly in April. But, in August one's amount of rise in temperature is smaller than April. Result of the calculated thermal expansion amount according to this current, the noted water level rising in August was found.
