Basic research on earthquake interaction of the ground and the pile foundation of the sandy ground
Satoru OHTSUKA
In the Ohkouzu diverted water old movable dam in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, removal work was carried out with the construction of the new movable dam by the deterioration of facilities. At this chance it was confirmed that a consecutive cavity occurred in the old movable dam bottom. If it was the loose ground, in the study of the past, it was able to confirm even a vibration level model experiment that hollowing out occurred by the subsidence of the earthquake. Based on such a background, in this study, I have focused on the structure supported in the pile foundation such as the large-scale structure and examine an outbreak condition of the hollowing out by a vibration level model experiment for an example by the hollowing out in the Ohkouzu diverted water former movable dam. The relative density of the sandy ground, pile presence and pile number of pile, and to compare the effects on the behavior of the surrounding ground by liquefaction countermeasure method I examined it with the problem in this study. As a result, knowledge shown below was provided.
I examined the outbreak condition of the hollowing out right under the dam by the liquefaction. It is thought that hollowing out occurs with the case which I installed a bearing pile in at relative density less than 40%.
I examined the most effective liquefaction measures method of construction when a large-scale structure was built on a loose sandy area board. I carried out a vibration level model experiment in three liquefaction measures methods of construction that set up bearing pile, friction pile, artificial drain materials, each. I think that the case that set up a bearing pile is the most effective liquefaction measures method of construction.
