Shu HIGUCHI, Toshiya MATSUKAWA, Bumpei NAKADE
This study aims to understand the condition and problem of central area living in local city from the structure of the dwelling and household by using the small-area census data. We define 1970 DID as central area.
We clarify that the population decreases at the central area where lots of detached house exist and that the factor is a separation of household and a disappearance of house.
We propose followings for the future:
1) Correspondence to the detached house residence will be urgently need.
2) The problem of the area and the shape of the site is solved by integrating sites that become vacant land.
3) It is necessary to do the migration support to the central area.
