Reproduction of Segway Behavior Using the Social Force Model
Kazushi Sano¡¤ Hiroaki NISHIUCHI
This study reproduces behavior of the Segway that it is electric two-wheeled vehicle personal mobility to attract attention as a new means of transportation. It is intended to clarify whether what kind of situation bottom and traffic rules are necessary to introduce Segway in a public road.
I pay my attention to the Social Force model who is suitable for reproduction by walker behavior on reproducing behavior of the Segway and I set the addition of a Segway special condition and a parameter in an SF model and adapt myself to Segway behavior in an SF model.
An SF model is a model suitable for reproducing the walker behavior that Helbing and others suggested, and the acceleration vector of the walker every credit hour is formulated. It reappears by adding the adjustment of the parameter and various conditions to the formulated expression and at first I grasp it about an underlying characteristic and characteristic of the Segway and let you apply it to a model.
At first I grasp it about a basic characteristic and characteristic of the Segway and let you apply to a model. I arrange run behavior of the Segway from the data which I grasped and estimate the parameter that behavior can reproduce most. I grasp the difference with the actual value from the comparison between Segway behavior model and that I built by the estimate of the parameter findings of Nishiuchi and others qualitatively and quantitatively.
I extract a problem and problems thought about from the result that I compared and consider it whether the addition of what kind of condition is necessary. I collect data necessary to add the condition that I considered to a model. I perform a run actual survey experiment of the Segway on collecting data.
I analyze the data which I got from the experiment that I carried out and reproduce behavior of the Segway in an SF model.
