Integrated analysis of transportation of water on surface of concrete structure and penetration of chloride into concrete

De-icing agent is sprinkled on the road in winter at a cold district, because prevent the road surface freezing. As a result many concrete structures are happened chloride attack. Characteristic of chloride attack with de-icing agent has two things. First, damage due to chloride attack occur at the zone of leakage water. Secondary, chloride is supplied into the concrete only winter. Accordingly it is important that grasp damage zone due to chloride attack and predict penetration of chloride that consider seasonal variation.
In this study, considered the reappearance method that the flow of water on the surface of structure and penetration of chloride into the concrete by numerical simulation. Moreover, in this study did reappearance analysis that the amount of chloride penetration into the concrete at actual structure and the leakage water zone of actual structure.
The model of analysis is assembled analysis that flow of water on the surface of structure and analysis of water and chloride transport. The experimental result suggested that the analysis that flow of water on the surface reappear actual phenomenon if surface of structure is uniform and given exact boundary condition. The numerical experimental result suggested that the analysis of water and chloride transport reappear actual phenomenon qualitative.
The result of the leakage water zone of actual structure and reappearance analysis suggested that the model of analysis reappear actual phenomenon qualitative. The result of the amount of chloride penetration into the concrete at actual structure and reappearance analysis showed that the model of analysis appear chloride ingress at the area of leakage water. However I think that precision of reappearance is not enough yet.
