By the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, liquefaction damage in residential land has occurred many. Therefore, I examined the liquefaction deterrent effect of gravel pile method. As a result, gravel pile method with reduced subsidence and the amount of excess pore water pressure ratio. In addition, as ground liquefaction layer thickness is large, the effect of reducing this method began to decrease.
