Research on simplified method of analysis of rockfall protecting work with a buffer brackets

Eiji IWSAKI

In Japan, many falling rocks disaster has occurred from conditions such as earthquakes and climate and terrain. Therefore, a number of rockfalls countermeasure construction have been made. Rockfall protection network is a kind (hereinafter, network protection) as well as high energy absorption performance falling rocks, and it is this protection and repair of high workability. However, prior research and the environment is required slope protection network performance evaluation experiments before construction, the length of time required for study was a challenge. With respect to that issue, that of previous studies, the results of performance evaluation experiment is reproducible dynamic response analysis has been shown. However, the dynamic response analysis is time-consuming analysis enormous. The future, in order to guide the design expression is indicative of when designing rock fall protection nets, and further analysis is required, simplifying analysis it was a challenge. Order to simplify the analysis of the dynamic response analysis of time-consuming vast, in this study, we performed experiments to reproduce the performance evaluation by static response analysis there. Then, by analyzing the model providing the collision condition of the weight of various, he is intended to be derived simply a value that is indicative of when designing a network protection rock fall from the analysis result
