Analysis of three-dimensional cellular automata approach noise propagation

Yasuyuki MIYAKI

For the problem of the various noise propagation analysis that can not be represented in a two-dimensional CA, to approximate the model available on the more practical, method of analysis techniques to construct a three-dimensional CA. Furthermore, I made a validation by comparing experimental results Kido (2008, Nagaoka University of Technology) did. Furthermore, changing the various parameters, we have proposed an effective noise barrier.
As a result, experimental measurements and value calculated from the CA are generally similar results were obtained. In addition, slit-shaped noise barriers proposed for the purpose of reducing the wind load was observed sound insulation effect by placing a slit in the transverse direction. They are higher effect was obtained by narrowing the slit spacing, multiple insert.
