The experiment and analytical consideration about the vertical bearing capacity characteristic of the pile in a saturated sand ground

The perpendicular loading test and numerical analysis of the pile in a saturated sand ground were carried out.
As a result, negative excess pore water pressure occurred under the pile, displacement magnitude was controlled, and overestimation of end bearing was suggested.
Moreover, it was checked that FEM analysis is effective in modification prediction of the pile foundation.
