Structuring disaster prevention awareness change of a living in Nagaoka city and the change of a voluntary disaster prevention organization

The Great East Japan Earthquake occurred in the year 2011. Japanese people are reminded of the terrible nature of the disaster, there is a growing awareness of disaster prevention. At present, voluntary disaster prevention organizations was established in local communities around the municipalities and neighborhood associations, initiatives that aim to improve its local disaster management has been carried out.
Focused on Association voluntary disaster prevention, the present study, it is important to know the current status and issues of voluntary disaster prevention association activity are currently organized in the city of Nagaoka. Purpose is to propose an efforts of Association voluntary disaster prevention and disaster prevention organizations, for improving regional disaster prevention force. I have conducted research and analysis activities and measures that are actually going disaster prevention awareness and personal power. In addition, by comparing the results of the survey, which was to go to 2009, I examined the changes in disaster prevention attitudes of the residents and effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
First, a questionnaire survey of the activities of the Board of voluntary disaster prevention to understand the current situation and problems of voluntary disaster prevention association activity from the point of view of the president voluntary disaster prevention. Many voluntary disaster prevention Association was formed in a passive reason.
Next, Issues for in the formation of the Board of voluntary disaster prevention personnel shortages were raised a survey of disaster prevention activities.
In addition, a survey of local residents about disaster prevention awareness Nagaoka City, we construct a structural model of awareness of disaster prevention. Effect of the Great East Japan Earthquake disaster prevention awareness is low. To want the information that will lead to improved disaster prevention force.
It is important to raise awareness of disaster prevention that will increase the chance to get to know local residents activities of the Board of voluntary disaster prevention.
