An experiment of a precise positioning of an object in low speed by post processing using a single
frequency GPS receiver

There are Global Positioning System(GPS) as a typical examples of Global Navigation Satellite Systems
(GNSS).The GPS receiver, there are single-frequency GPS receiver and dual-frequency GPS receiver .If
the required accuracy is less about centimeters , it use dual-frequency GPS receivers¡¥If the required
accuracy is about meters , it use single-frequency GPS receivers¡¥By combining the Post analysis
processing (kinematic or static positioning)and a single-frequency GPS receiver, we examined
positioning accuracy of an object in low speed in this study.
We have performed two positioning experiments. These are conducted a fixed experiment to examine
the positioning of stationary positioning and positioning experiments of an object in low speed to
examine the positioning accuracy at the time of the movement. We have examined the results of this two
positioning experiments.
¡¡First, a fixed experiment allowed to stand for 2 hours GPS antenna using triangulation point. We
compared with kinematic or static positioning and single positioning accuracy and precision from of the
triangle coordinates. From this, we have found that interferometry positioning is higher than single
positioning. Among kinematic or static positioning we have found that positioning accuracy is improved
by using a fixed value. Next, positioning experiments of an object in low speed have moved back and
forth between two points assuming that the moving body. We examined the linearity of the movement
trajectory with the distance between two points. In the distance between two points, compared with
kinematic or static positioning and single positioning by absolute deviation of the mean value of the total
station. From this, we have found that kinematic or static positioning is higher than single positioning.
Further, in the linearity of the movement trajectory is compared a single positioning and kinematic or
static positioning by the value of RMSE. Linearity of the movement trajectory was found that
kinematic or static positioning is higher than a single positioning.
From the above, by combining the Post processing in a single-frequency GPS receiver, could be
confirmed increase the positioning accuracy.
