3D laser surveying is one of remote sensing technology to obtain a three-dimensional coordinate data and picture data to be observed, can be expected to measure accurately and three-dimensional.Laser wavelength range of the laser scanner is used for three-dimensional measurement is shortwave infrared (3000nm from 1300nm), there is a property that tends to absorb light when there is water. In recent years, the use of remote sensing instrumentation, such as soil moisture estimation of the reflection intensity can be measured along with the distance data using the reflection intensity can be expected. Two types of laser surveying the ground to perform the measurement install the scanner on the ground and airborne laser scanner to take measurements on aircraft equipped with a scanner there are three-dimensional laser surveying. Since the measurement from above, because the observation range is wide, too far away to be observed, with airborne laser scanner, the distance and angle between the observation target is constant. On the other hand, is considered in the laser surveying the ground for the observation range is narrow, and the distance to the target is close observation, and observation distance and observation angle significantly affect the data. So this research, the aim we consider the problems that can occur when you reveal experiment effects such as changes in spot size due to the angle of observation distance and observation of laser surveying the ground on the reflection intensity, using a laser scanner on the ground there I was set. In addition, it is also intended that the wavelength of the laser focus is the water absorption band, consider the reflection intensity data for the availability of ground laser scanner.
In this research, we showed experimentally that the reflection intensity of the laser scanner data is attenuated by the ground observation distance and observation angle. In addition, another problem became apparent reflection intensity is greatly influenced by the setting of the focal length of the laser scanner ground.
For availability, the said order to change the reflection intensity data was confirmed by the moisture content, and there is a possibility of soil moisture content readable by a laser scanner ground.
