Now, the storage function of the paddy field is watched about one of the flood measures.Paddy field has storage function, and it can storage the water. Another agricultural land has not this characteristic function.Moreover, the paddy field can drain little water with overflow and the burden on a river is eased.By this research purpose is estimation of storage function of paddy field in Kaki river area. First, I make the Kaki river area with NK-GIAS.Next, the Kaki river area classified into the small area with main river waterway, paddy field waterway and digital elevation data. And, I calculate the paddy field area in every small area with an aerial photograph and digital map.Final, the every small area was classified into a paddy field area and not a paddy field area according to the area ratio. I create the paddy field pool model for calculate an outflow from paddy field area. It can calculate an outflow from paddy field of one sheet. Outflow From the all paddy field area in Kaki river area is calculated by all paddy field area in Kaki river area divided by paddy field area of one sheet.Out flow from not a paddy field area is calculated by Storage function model for flood runoff analysis. The parameter setting used the value used by the river development project. finally, Out flow from Kaki river area which added the Out flow from a paddy field area and Out flow from not a paddy field areaRunoff analysis used the rain of the plan scales 1/2, 1/10, and 1/30. The peak value of the flow of the case in consideration of a paddy field and the case which is not taken into consideration was compared.Compared with the case that the case in consideration of a paddy field does not take a paddy field into consideration, the peak value decreased by 50%.In the case which carried out the "paddy field dam" that a flood inhibiting effect is higher, the peak value decreased by 10กม13%
