Analysis of Chloride Ingress into Concrete Subjected to Airborne Salt

Takumi Shimomura

ĦĦTo prediction of chloride ingress into concrete is important to evaluation of environmental conditons. But evalution of environmental differ the structure.
Therefore researcher have surveyed environment actions. For example , airborne salt and chloride concentration, surface chloride concentration is.Then evaluated environment actions by it.
ĦĦIn this Research,to long-term prediction of chloride ingress structure use thin specimen that made of the same material as the structure obtain short-term experimental of chloride ingress from exposure test in the same environment as the structure. Then, apply the boundary condition was determined by numerical analysis.
And, used boundary condition ,to verified chloride ingress structure for long-term.
More specifically,in this research used mortars specimen of thin and thick. And,wind tunnel. Analysis was applied to fixed boundary conditions and natural boundary conditions.
ĦĦAs a result, prediction of chloride ingress to thick specimen was able to prediction from short-term experimental of chloride ingress thin specimen. But, experimental of thick specimen is shorter than structures.so,research need for long-term.Also, fixed boundary conditions and natural boundary conditions can be expressed as effect for airborne salt.
