Research on coupled analysis of fluid and soil foundations based on MPS method

Satoru OHTSUKA

The purpose of the present study is to clarify the collapse mechanism of the ground structure due to the earthquake and the flood damage, to construct the technique that can appropriately analyze limit state and amount of the residual displacement, and to assume a help of the performance regulations of the ground structure. However, the one of an existing method for analyzing corresponding to shape and destruction is very few, and the examination is very difficult.
Then, it paid attention to the MPS method of the particle method as a very excellent method for analyzing in the shape problem and the pursuit on the complexity field side in the present study.
The elasto-plastic dynamic and analysis codes that used the Drucker-Prager model yield function were constructed to examine the applicability to the ground displacement analysis, and the validity was examined last year.
This year, that codes made last year further examined with some analysis objects. And coupled analysis of fluid and soil foundations constructed with the analysis code of incompressible fluid made by Koshizuka and the analysis codes of elasto-plastic dynamic.
