Evaluation of traffic congestion mitigation measures Nagaoka Fireworks Festival using micro traffic simulation

Nagaoka Fireworks Festival is the largest event in the summer of Nagaoka. Tourists is the scale of one million fireworks. Therefore, tourists will arrive around the time to return at once to end fireworks, traffic congestion has occurred annually during the time when 21 to 23. This traffic congestion has become a major problem of fireworks. In order to alleviate the traffic congestion problem, we propose measures to mitigate traffic congestion by using a simulation "Paramics" micro traffic. And aims to make its evaluation.
Research methods, we split the zone of Paramics to fit the B zone of road traffic census data year H17. To determine the amount of traffic from the initial OD traffic generated traffic volume per day and centralized traffic volume per day. Paramics input to the initial OD traffic volume, traffic volume link, the data signal, traffic regulation program.
