Evaluation of parking measures for the Nagaoka city hall relocation

Various redevelopment projects center of city hall plaza "Ao-re Nagaoka" are progressed in the downtown of Nagaoka City. It is expected the traffic situation of the downtown changes greatly by these, and, an increase of the car user is especially expected. As for the "Ao-re Nagaoka parking" , because not only the Ao-re Nagaoka user but also a general user can park, congestion is expected. So, this paper paid attention to the short-time parking for visitors in the downtown of Nagaoka City. and, the questionnaire survey assumed it visited "Ao-re Nagaoka" was done, the visitors' parking lot selection behavior was clarified.
The parking lot place of the "Ao-re Nagaoka" visit from result of the questionnaire was "Ao-re Nagaoka parking", and it accounted for 52.4% of the whole. And, it turned out 65.2% changed to other parking when knowing that the "Ao-re Nagaoka parking" was a full by the system of the guide. When there was no system of the guide in the parking, It turned out the "Ao-re Nagaoka parking" became a full from 9:10 to 11:50 and from 12:50 to 15:40.However, it was confirmed not to become a full by all time by introducing the system of the guide in the parking. Therefore, it turned out that the effect the use of the parking is distributed was large by introducing the system of the guide in the parking. However, there was 26.4% respondent who selected the private parking lot not displayed to the system of the guide in the parking. So, it is necessary to display the parking lot that is real-time and crowded
