Study on grasp the cropping situation using satellite observation data at the small scale farm field division

By the decrease of agricultural population and aging , abandonment farmland is increasing in the intermediate and mountainous area. Moreover, an intermediate and mountainous area has many small scale farm fields. By satellite remote sensing, knowing the cropping situation of the small scale farm field is difficulty.
I thought that the analysis of the satellite observational data using division farm field data was effective as a method of observing a cultivated land. By pan-sharpen and subdivision of pixel's size, the grasp technique of the cropping situation of a small scale cultivated land was considered using Landsat-7. In addition, Landsat-7 broke down on May 31, 2003. Loss of data like the diagonal line to satellite data from this time began to occur. Must eliminate loss of data in order to eliminate an error.
In the farm field around May, it is put into water for rice planting. Since near-infrared rays are absorbed into water, the pixel's value becomes low. Paddy rice grows thickly in the farm field around August.
And Normalized Difference Vegetation Index becomes high. I thought cropping farm field according to these data.
In conclusion, the cropping situation of the small scale farm field in an intermediate and mountainous area was able to be distinguished by using division farm field data. The cropping farm field which was obtained in analysis understood that most accorded by inspection. In addition, by pan-sharpen and subdivision of pixel's size, were able to resolve the issue. The study was carried out with data from only two of May and August, the percentage of not cropping farm fields match was bad. In the future,ĦĦthe study can be analyzed with good accuracy by increasing the information. Furthermore, this study was only observed data of 2010. Furthermore, it is necessary to consider cropping situation for change over the years of small scale farm field
