Research on vertical bearing capacity calculation of pile that uses rapid loading test

The design vertical bearing capacity of the pile is calculated based on the parameter of the ground constant and pile. The validity of the designed value can be confirmed only by the vertical loading test on the pile. But an important structure for which a big bearing capacity is needed is excluded. It is often omitted from the restriction side of the term of works and the cost of construction.
A safe, light and small excellent in mobility testing set that uses compress air for the motive power of the rapid loading test device is developed.
In the present study, it aims at the grasp of the vertical bearing capacity characteristic of the stake in a rapid loading test as part of the development of the rapid loading test of empty pressure type device, and the interpretation method of the rapid loading test is examined.
In such a purpose, the validity of an analytical model was examined by model test and the FEM, and comparing the model test result with the FEM result in the present study. The obtained conclusion is shown as follows.
1)In the model test that imitated a rapid loading test examination, the wave phenomenon caused pile was examined and time of the load or displacement.
2)This model test simulated of load-displacement relationship that used FEM. it was possible to reproduce it by high accuracy. As a result, it is a soil in the deformation prediction of the pile confirmed that FEM.
3)A safe structure can be constructed attempting shortening the term of works by presuming the sub grade bearing capacity by using a rapid loading test
