Research on residual displacement amount calculation technique of embankment slope where excess pore water pressure at earthquake was considered

A lot of embankment damage occurs in a past earthquake including the Chuetsu earthquake in 2004 and the Noto Hanto earthquake in 2007. It aims to receive such a background, and to verify the factor and the damage generation mechanism where damage occurs, the triaxial test that pays attention to the mechanical characteristic of the embankment material and the shaking table test that uses the artificial model ground are executed, and the collapse mechanism has been investigated.The evaluation is done by the circular slide method by the limit fishing, suitable, and using the method as for the stability check of these embankment to the earthquake. It is said that it is reasonable to allow damaging to some degree, and is needed the introduction of the transformation amount check for such a large-scale earthquake by an earthquake-proof evaluation of the embankment structure.It has aimed at the proposal of the correction Newmark method that can consider the excess pore water pressure generated by paying attention to Newmark method used most as a simple calculation technique of the amount of the residual displacement, and building in the method by which the excess pore water pressure that uses the liquidizing strength curve can be calculated at the earthquake in the present study based on such a background.
1¡ËWhen the embankment collapses in the model experiment, the generation of the excess pore water pressure in the embankment is early, and the decrease under the effective stress in the fill is a factor to the collapse because displacement progresses along with it.
2¡ËThe analysis that used correction Fellenius method was simply done as a calculation technique of the excess pore water pressure at the earthquake, and it proposed the technique for combining the liquidizing strength curves obtained from three axis compression examination.
3¡ËThe repetition power that was able to consider the maximum value and the continuance time of the acceleration because it corresponded to not only the rule wave but also the repetition of random waves (seismic wave), and was able to replace it with the form of the monotone increasing function was used for the index.
4¡ËIt was confirmed to be able to reproduce the size of the seismic ground motion and the amount of the residual transformation by the change in the groundwater level as a result of doing the displacement analysis
