Introduction to the infinite boundary noise propagation analysis by cellular automata method
Yasuyuki MIYAKI
The noise is one of the important environmental problems. In this research, noise propagation prediction is performed using the Cellular Automata method (the following CA method).Up to now, the reliability of the CA method has been verified. As a result, I understood that a prediction in two dimensions was possible. However, the formulation of an infinite boundary was untouched in modeling two dimensions sound field. I was aimed for the introduction of the infinite border to the noise propagation analytical technique by CA method in this study. At first I added the definition of the border to a calculation rule of CA method. Next, the boundary condition was made. And I made the two-dimensional CA model that I introduced an infinite border into as boundary condition. The validity was verified by comparing the two dimension CA models with an existing model. As a result, it was confirmed that I was effective as an infinite border in two dimensions sound field. Moreover, it was possible to reduce to about 1/25 in about 1/10 and the memory capacity at analytical time. It has been understood that it is effective on both sides of the memory capacity and the computing time
