Outline:
It is necessary to clarify characteristic of a stress and an effective strain of the concrete member to calculate the drying shrinkage crack.
This research focuses on characteristics of concrete in sustained tensile deformation. Therefore, author investigated by sustaining tensile test, and took knowledge in time-dependent sustained tensile deformation of concrete member. For example, it was verified that drying creep was larger than basic creep among tensile creep.
Author performed the reproduction analysis with moisture transport analysis and stress analysis about the experiment results and examined the expressivity in the current model. The apparent mean stress-effective strain relationship of the concrete member can be partly explained by the analysis considering nonuniformity of stress and strain in cross section due to moisture gradient in concrete in drying process. However, instantaneous stiffness can not be properly simulated at this moment in advanced drying. Further study should be focused on this point.
