Numenical Experiments on Avalanche dynamic in the Mid-mountain our area
Tokuzo Hosoyamada
Japan is an eminent heavy snow country also in the world. In Niigata Prefecture, the whole area of the prefecture is a heavy snowfall area.
A lot of ground collapses occurred due to the Chuetsu earthquake in October, 2004.Therefore, it becomes one of the researches that the development of the flow model of the avalanche is important to estimate risk of snow disaster in the mid-mountain our area.
Then, it aimed to conduct a numeric experiment concerning the characteristic of the avalanche using the flow model of the avalanche in the present study.
In this thesis, the movement of the avalanche was calculated.
The model by whom the movement of the avalanche was expressible was constructed.
The thing that the movement of the avalanche that flowed on the slope was able to be expressed by the numerical analysis was able to be confirmed.
The temporal change of the pressure acting on a continuous protective snow barrier was able to be confirmed.
The movement of the avalanche with the protective snow barrier was able to be confirmed.
