Analysis of fundamental mechanism of erosion and deposition by flow of water
Tokuzo HOSOYAMADA
A lot of flood damages are caused by the heavy rain recently, and reported that the embankment breaks. A fast flood flows when the embankment breaks. Houses are broken by that. Moreover, after water is lost, earth and sand remains. The embankment is often built with the soil. Therefore, it breaks easily when the overflow is generated. To prevent it, a breakable place is defended with concrete etc. However, there is still an embankment built only with the soil. I want to examine the flow of water and the relation of the movement of earth and sand. It is because effective measures are taken before the flood occurs. It aimed to understand the movement of earth and sand by the overflow from the experiment and the math calculation in the present study.
The experiment uses what sand, sand and clay mixed. The collapse of the embankment is expressed by using the unidimensional model in the math calculation. Depositon and the erosion of earth and sand by the overflow were able to be understood from the experiment and the fruiting number value calculation
