Analysis and assignment based on building damage data due to Chuetsu Earthquake using Geographic Information System

In the present study, old Nagaoka City that received the building damage due to the Chuetsu earthquake in 2004 used the affliction proof data and the geographic information, the data base was constructed, and the correlation with geographic information of the building damage, geographical features, and geology features, etc. was analyzed.
The data base was made as a data base that was able to be analyzed on GIS by adding a lot of geographic information based on the victimÃÔ certificate data and the estate ground data.
This data base has features that affliction proof information characterizes, and made the difference between the house and the damage house a no damage house by converting damage house and estate ground data into the latitude longitude that can be analyzed on ArcMap.
Moreover, the analysis of a more detailed house was enabled by the no damage house's having both locations information. As for the constructed data base, general is scheduled to be opened to the public as disaster prevention material for the citizens. First of all, the result of the present study includes the construction of the data base.
