Concrete is deteriorated because CO2, moisture, and sodium chloride invade, and the crack occurs.
And, concrete deteriorates and cannot maintain necessary performance.
It is necessary surface protection materials of concrete to prevent deterioration. Moreover, the importance increases.
In this study, I used two kinds of surface penetration materials and one kind of surface coating material and examined the corrosion chilling effect of the reinforcing rod.
As results, the following about surface protection materials have been understood.
(1) The effect is low in the test piece that concrete has invaded.
(2) The material screening effect is high.
(3) The surface protection materials may have the corrosion chilling effect of the reinforcing rod for "a new structure" and "the established structure which removed salt" from (1) and (2).
