Research on redundancy analysis and modeling by FEM analysis in truss bridge

In this research, evaluation for redundancy is considered under a main member of truss structure is broken, where redundancy means that bridge doesn't collapse when main member is broken. The object bridge is cyousei bridge in Niigata Prefecture Nagaoka City. The cyousei bridge is modeled by the FEM analysis. As for the breaking material assumed by the redundancy evaluation, it thinks only about main structure material. The release forces when member is broken are applied in joint of broken member, judges whether to be of each member in the state of the safety.
The obtained result by the research is follows.
here are a lot of member force over the strength of its member when assuming that the diagonal member is broken, the structure becomes unstable, and there is danger of leading to the collapse.
ˇ¦The redundancy improves by FEM model considering stringer beam.
It is necessary to examine it in addition as follows as future tasks.
ˇ¦By the FEM model considering slab, the influence is evaluated.
ˇ¦The redundancy as not each span but one bridge is analyzed.
ˇ¦Considering a nonlinear model, more actual behavior evaluates the redundancy.
