Questionnaire system for reliability improvement of stated preference data

Recent years, the motorization has caused a lot of problems. The unconventional transportation system such as LRT is thought as one of the solutions of these problems. When we evaluate the feasibility of the unconventional transportation system, we need forecast demand and questionnaire survey. I have developed a questionnaire system to improve the reliability of this survey.
The stated preference survey is necessary for the demand forecast of virtual unconventional transportation system. However, their answers do not always correspond to an actual their behavior because questionnaire provides of a virtual situation. That are difficult to them image. The questionnaire system is intended to solve these problems and improve the reliability of survey data.
The system was developed by using Java program language. A part of the map of the area in the Niigata city is made first. Next, The map display route, distance, time and cost when respondent select the origin and the destination. This system easily provide to the respondent to imagine a virtual situation from the display of route information.
