To evaluate the traffic measure by micro - traffic simulation, the OD traffic density for every short total margin and zone are required. However, the OD table is made by the public agency as the data with the wide total margin so far. Therefore, it is very difficult to apply directly this kind of table to micro ? traffic simulation.
On the other hand, vehicle detector is established in an interval of about 200m to 1000m, and the traffic density data is collected at short total margin. Hence, OD traffic density for every 10 minutes is estimated by micro - traffic simulation using data of the traffic density that observed by vehicle detector in this research. In addition, time zone OD traffic density is applied to an actual network.
The remainder of this research is organized as follows. Firstly, the initial stage of OD traffic density is calculated using the double restriction type gravity model. Secondly, the initial stage of OD traffic density is input to the Paramics, and the new stage of OD traffic density and link traffic density are computed. Finally, OD traffic density for every 10 minutes is calculated using the OD traffic density by micro traffic simulation.
