Today, soaring grain prices, and changes in the world food situation in other countries and export restrictions in Japan are more dependent on foreign food, strengthen the domestic food supply, improvement of food self-sufficiency rate that is a challenge to try to. To ensure high-quality farmland in the state, is critical to effective use to achieve that.
Then, suitable for understanding an excellent farmland is a remote sensing technology by the satellite image and the aerophotograph. The environment can be monitored at the interval time decided without disarranging the environment in the object area that is the large range by observing surface of the earth by using the orbiting satellite, and a regular environmental monitoring by a constant standard in the large range is more possible than the investigation by the ground. Moreover, it is possible to search for the farmland history before the space satellite is launched by using the aerophotograph taken a picture of by the aircraft. The research on the farmland transition that uses the remote sensing data is done from various viewpoints, and the use data and the technique used for them are various. It aimed to examine the farmland history search technique to understand an excellent farmland by using the aerophotograph and the satellite image that was the remote sensing technology in the present study.
It has been understood to be able to search for the farmland history by using the technique for examining it as a result of assuming the Shinano river left bank in Niigata Prefecture Nagaoka City to be an object area, and examining the technique of the farmland history search in the present study. It was possible to make the farmland history understood at one view from the time series array of the farmland image at each time because of one idea knowing the farmland history of each annual to understand an excellent farmland.
As for the error margin caused in the present study, the error margin when watching the error margin in the banks of a river, the error margin at the geometric correction of the satellite image, and the aerophotograph is made out is given. The reason for the error margin in the banks of a river is that the land coverage of vegetation in the banks of a river changed by an increase in the width of a river by the weather when the farmland is extracted. The error margin at the geometric correction of the satellite image and the error margin when the aerophotograph watching is made out can be called it is future tasks to improve accuracy.
