Numerical Simulation about Flushing of the River-Mouth Bar at Agano-River by Flood in 2004

Tokuzo HOSOYAMADA

The flash phenomenon in the mouth of a river sand bar is a phenomenon that the sand bar is thrown to the offing by largeflowing quantity such as floods. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the influence of the sand bar at the flood by accurately reproducing the movement of the flash of the sand bar in the Agano-River mouth of a river region for the flood due to the tyuetsu damage by a flood in 2004 that records large flowing quantity that exceeds flowing quantity 7000m3/s of the river in Agano-River.
The research method is an improvement of the simulation model in the past. The river flow rate at the Tyuetsu damage by a flood of 2004 that became the initial condition of the calculation, the coast tide title, and the parameter of the riverbed particle size etc. were derived at the same time.
In the calculation result, the movement of the sand bar was shown in the plan, the crossing chart, the running through chart, and three dimension chart, and the change in the river road at the flood was confirmed. Moreover, the flood calculation when the sand bar flash did not happen was done, and danger when the flash happened and when neither the influence nor the flash of the sand bar against like the flood happened because it compared it was evaluated.
