Extraction Method of Male Flower Setting Area in the Digital Photographs of Cryptomeria

The pollinosis is called for folk disease in Japan. The amount prediction of pollen dispersal is researched by visual investigation in Cryptomeria. It is fixed point observation. There are some problems in it. First problem, the investigation's result has subjective judgment of investigator. Second problem, the investigation is not observed at a field but at the point. Third problem, an investigator is difficult for observe top of tree from ground. The state of male setting area of Cryptomeria changes by every year. The digital image would compare it by per year.
The study objective that is proposes method to extraction of male area from digital photograph by the Remote Sensing Technology. As a result, we can get accuracy information of pollen source in large forest area. The end goal of study is extraction it from aerial photo. In this study, I propose to extraction method of male area from digital photograph. The digital photographs obtained by ground-observation.
I developed two extraction methods that were precision method and simple method. The precision method extracts to male area from three categories of Cryptomeria. There are yellow male and red male and leaf in three. The simple method extracts yellow future in yellow male.
In this study, the verification of result that ask verify to specialist of visual investigation.
