3D finite element analysis of a coupled behavior of electric power line system including soil-pile foundation-tower structure interaction.

The need of the refinement of the design methodology for electric power line systems has come to be acknowledged in association with the increase in natural disasters and the liberalization of electric power industry in recent year. The current design is examined in a specialized field of each componentry and does not examine this interaction. In this research, we analyzed at the whole structural system, and we examined importance of stability analysis it.
As a result, successfully estimated stresses of a electric power line tower and a force transmitted to the foundation. In addition, we found effect of nearby foundation, and the changing of a destruction form by state of action load. From these results, we confirmed importance of stability analysis at the whole structural system.
