Current Analysis of Tram of Japan and Research on Development Possibility

Syouji MATSUMOTO,Kazushi SANO

It was examined to understand the current state of the tram of Japan in this research, and to compare the difference with LRT of Britain and France target. The route in the orbit of using together has increased to the route in Japan overall. A fixed speed of the table has slowed in such a route. A fixed speed of the table has quickened overall in the route in Britain and France. In such a situation, it was possible to look for an increase in the number of passengers by an increase in the operating frequency of the route. Changes of the elasticity by an increase in the operating frequency were compared. It was possible to look for the tendency that only Britain and France were increasing the elasticity in the number of passengers a q though both increases in the elasticity by an increase in the operating frequency were seen in the number of passengers a day. Because it is said that the elasticity of the number of passengers a q increasing is long that the trip length only that the number of passengers doesn't increase, it has been understood that the number of use in whole line increases in Britain and France.
