Acceptability of Parking Levy Introduced by Local Government

This study focus is on parking levy to solve various problems in congestion. Questionnaire survey was conducted in Nagaoka .The study analyses factors and their cause-effect relationship for enhancing acceptability of Parking Levy using the questionnaire survey data.The analysis shows that 51% of non-employed person and 39% of the employed person agreed to the introduction of Parking Levy.Thus, it is easier for the non-employed person to win the support of the introduction of the Parking Levy than the employed person.An analysis by the structural equation model reveals that to using the tax for public transportation influence the acceptance of the Parking Levy.And, The analysis revealed that there was a difference between in the employed person and the non-employed person the structural equation model to the�@acceptance�@of the Parking Levy.
