Numerical Study of Wave Induced Deformation of Bottom Topography in a River Mouth Bar

Tokuzou HOSOYAMADA

River mouth bars, which are naturally formed by transport of land by river and sea currents, often cause inhibition of river downstream blow. Especially, in the blood time river mouth enhance hazard of serious blood. Basic mechanics of formation and bushing of the river mouth should be understood fully. In this research, I concentrate on formation of river month by river wave in winter time. A series of numerical simulation of multi directional irregular wave, currents and, littoral drift are carried out. In conclusion, shape and formation of river mouth are affected by main direction of multi directional wave.
