Study on the Prediction of Future Population Distribution in the Local City Region �\Considering the Population Density and Regulation of Land-Use�\

We make the population distribution forecast in the future in five cit�� regions in Tohoku and Hokuriku with the development trend in recent years. We use the mesh data in this study and pay attention to the population density and the regulation of land use regulation.
Seeing the distribution of the obtained future population according to the regulation of land use, the population density of the center part of the city region decreases remarkably compared with the present one, and the width of the decrease in the part of the edge outside the urban area is small. Moreover, the expansion of a new emerging zone will not stop though the population in all of five city regions will decrease. In addition, the district sparsely inhabited increases overall.
