Atsushi RIKIMARU,Yukio MUKAI

Now observation of a wide area and a continuous monitoring for dangerous areas is required to reduce the damage by natural disaster. Therefore, in this study Yamakoshi district in Niigata prefecture was selected as a test site and grasp of the collapse slope characteristic of the test site from satellite data was aimed. At first, several collapsed points were selected and the areas similar to the selected points were extracted. Next the distribution of temperature and vegetation in the extracted areas were investigated. And the collapse slope characteristic in the test site was grasped and the collapse danger points were inferred.
It was suggested that the collapse slope characteristic can be grasped by remote sensing technology.
