Research on the Development of Upstream and Downstream Consistent Distributed Hydrological Model Include Dam Control

Minjiao LU

There are more then 3,000 in the whole country. Although the irrigation water, sewerage, industrial use of water, power generation, the flood defense of the installation purpose, etc. are various, whatever the use may be, the management must be performed safely and appropriately. Although it seems that the present condition has many dams depending on experience, in order to cope with there problems more rationally, it is necessary to use runoff model. It is considered that effective use and disaster prevention of such snow are very important subjects. However, it is very difficult to grasp the snowfall and the snow coverage characteristics of representation heavy snowfall area or a mountains area. Therefore, it can be said that the necessity for the reappearance and prediction by the model is high. The purpose of this research is creating the upstream and downstream consistent distributed snowmelt runoff model including dam control at a basin and performing runoff analysis. It aims at realizing dam operation in consideration of the action of the water in a basin, and grasping the amount of water resources of study basin by using the upstream and downstream consistent distributed snowmelt runoff model including dam control. The delineation of channel network used by the distributed hydrological mode was created as a research result, and the upstream and downstream consistent distributed snowmelt runoff mode includes dam control was created. The amount of water resources was presumed at the SAGURIKAWA basin. In the model of this research, since the whole basin can be taken into consideration, it is possible to take various dam managements into consideration.
