The Crack Width Control Effect of a Component in Short Aramid Fiber Reinforced Concrete Member
SupervisorFProf.Takumi SHIMOMURA
Each fiber reinforced concrete member carried out axial tension test. Fiber reinforced concrete member checked experimentally that it was effective in reduction of the crack width of a component. The crack width reduction mechanism by fiber mixing studied.
Consequently, it became clear that it cannot explain from a viewpoint which tension-stiffening of concrete and crack interval.
The bridging effect of the fiber in a crack checked that it was the main mechanism of crack width reduction.
The crack width calculation formula of fiber reinforced concrete was proposed.
