Research on the Application of the Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) to the Railroad Bridge Noise

Yasuyuki MIYAKI

In SEA, the subsystem division of the structure, an analytic object, is done, and the energy of the each subsystem is computed from the relationship to the balance of the input, the loss, and the transmission energy.

As for input energy to say here, they were vibration acceleration level of the railway track and girder, and then this was measured by the 3rd Chikuma River noise investigation.

The models used in the SEA are a floor, the vertical girder and the side girder for the simplification. And 5 kinds of models of 23, 59, 26, 67, 3 subsystems were made by the number of element division and the structure form.

As an analytic result, it could get the result that corresponded to the actual measurement value comparatively in case of a 59,67,3 element. But, as for the model of the 23,26 subsystems, analytic value became a little bigger result than actual measurement value. It can think about this with the benefit that input energy is given to the whole of the floor edition.

And, analytic value changed greatly due to the position of the input. Therefore, The way of dividing it and the decision of the position of the input become important with SEA.
