Study on the Revitalization of Central District of Local Cities -Focusing on Shape-up-My-Town Plan-

In this study, Considering ideal way of revitalization of central district of local city, we focus the plans named Shape-Up-My-Town which planned about 15 ago. We make questionnaire for 26 cities which made plans and examine hearing for 4 cities to clarify the details of the plan.
We clarify that most cities did not attempted the security of the settlement population to the central district and the understanding of the person concerning to the central district such as the commerce person greatly influences in promotion of the projects.
We propose that in future central district development, the strengthening of the security on the settlement population is desired approach.
