The growth survey of rice aims at improvement and maintenance of qiality of rice.
However, as a great deal of labor and time are required for the survey, it is.difficult to
investigate all rice field. A model of growth stage of rice is created using field
investigation data obtained at rice fields of Koshiji-cho in Niigata prefecture.
This model was applied to a satellite image and a growth stage map of rice was created
and grasping the distribution of rice growth stage was performed.
This growth stage map can be used also for evaluating cultivation management engineering.
Moreover, as a result of investigating the relation between protain and amylose which
are flavor element, a possibility that amylose can be presumed with
NDVI(Normalize Difference Vegetation Index) became clear.
