Flood Flow Analysis Using the Storage Function Model in the Seki-River

Norio@HAYAKAWA

Heavy intensive rainfall struck the Joetsu district and Chuetu district of Niigata prefecture on July 11,1995. The Seki-river of the Joetsu district was heavily struck. The maximum precipitation was observed as 50mm an hour. In this flood, the maximum discharge at the Seki-river is not known because the measurement device failed to function at high water.
In this study, this maximum discharge is estimated developing the storage function model applicable to the Seki-river.
